Songwriter
I have been dedicated to songwriting since the late 1990s. I traveled frequently to Nashville to co-write, pitch my songs and produce new demos. In 2007 I moved to Nashville to work full time on Music Row as a songwriter. I have had numerous major label holds, as well as independent label cuts. Check out my discography for more information. I have also won a number of awards for my songwriting. In addition, I released 2 solo albums of my own, one of which charted on the Americana Music and Roots Music Report radio airplay charts.
Keyboardist
I began playing piano at age 6. I was both classically trained and studied jazz and pop with Lowell-area pianist Dick Carpentier, and later Maurice Pepin. During my Berklee years, I studied with Emmanuel Zambelli, in addition to pursuing studies in electronic music synthesis. I have performed as a multi-keyboardist with numerous Boston-area bands throughout my career, as well as performed and toured with a number of Nashville-based artists, most recently recording country artist Matt Kennon (“The Call”).
Teacher
I am currently an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music. I also teach piano and songwriting privately. I am a degreed music instructor, levels K-12, and have worked in the public schools as well as privately. While in Nashville, I was privileged to teach piano at the W.O. Smith Community Music School.
